Stunning Shahsavan runner, it must be the best example I have ever seen. Full velvety pile, with colour oozing out this is a very magical piece indeed. I would date it circa 1850. Size approx 4m x .95m Excellent condition for age, some corroded pistachio green and new side cords.

Very attractive East Anatolian Kurdish rug with red and blue woollen warps, dark brown wefts. Circa 1875. Usually very gloomy in colour, this example is lively and happy. Good pile, some minor old repairs to selvedge and extra fringing has been added. All natural dyes. Approx 1.65m x 1.35m

An antique Chila rug, North East Caucasus 2.70m x 1.44m. Good condition, blacks corroded and a couple of small darns at one side. Faded fuchsine and nice duck egg blue, doesn\'t really show in pictures. Needs a deep wash at time of photography.
