17th Century English Crewelwork Panel 224 x 136cm / 7'4" x 4'5"
£6,500
Made in the 17th century, probably as a curtain or to decorate a four poster bed, the unusually fine crewelwork has all the attributes we love about English embroidery; Wonderful, fresh colour; dynamic and realistically drawn vines issuing colourful and diverse flowers. Unusual also to find such a large chunk and it would make a spectacular display item. Clean and professionally conserved.
7'4" x 4'5"
Occasionally I also do a home trial, numerous factors can vastly change how a piece looks and feels in a room. Get in touch for more information
