A rare beauty, probably made in or near Ghiordes in the West of Turkey. This Ottoman prayer rug would have been made in a workshop for a wealthy patron or member of the royal family. A great opportunity to acquire some early Turkish heritage. Worn but commensurate with age. Fabulous details and great colour.
