Antique Talish Runner 99 x 281cm / 3'3" x 8'7"

The dyes used in this fine Caucasian runner are nothing short of exceptional- please see the close ups. The grass green, the different blues, rich yellow, purple, peach a real tour de force of what the best dyers could manage and although the sides have been replaced and there are a few small old repairs, the pile is essentially in excellent condition. This really allows the colours to glow and, of course, means it could last another 150 or so years. Strikingly modern looking with the diagonal slanting stripes alternating between white and navy, it can fit into many contemporary interiors and be a great conversation point.
