Antique Karadja Carpet, Oversize 407 x 480cm / 13'4" x 15'9"

This massive Karadja from the Heriz district of North West Persia is very striking and handsome. A heavily abrashed medallion floats on a gorgeous red field filled with flowering vines, in abstract design. The equally abrashed main border has an extra girth to the width that is courtesy of the extra large size and really gives the overall look a much greater impact. A beautiful and dramatic carpet in very good condition. Showing light wear and a few old but well done repairs, clean and ready for your floor.
