Stunning Ziegler carpet in nearly mint condition. Full, original pile everywhere, beautifully patinated over many years. The large palmette design sits on a soft blue ground, within a broad orangey red border. A very unusual dimension being slightly long and narrow is perfect for that odd shaped drawing room or study one finds in old London homes, or country estates. Top of the range piece, with similar colours to the Robert Kime Ziegler that recently sold for £98,500 at auction.
