Late 19th century Karabagh Kelleh 213 x 634cm / 7'0" x 20'7"
£5,500
An impressive gallery carpet from the Caucasus, woven with an insect dye ground colour. It is as unusual as it is striking especially with the large serrated medallions floating in an ever-lasting repeat pattern. All within a gorgeous, sky blue border with many shimmering shades. In low pile, with foundation showing in places, no holes or significant repairs.
Occasionally I also do a home trial, numerous factors can vastly change how a piece looks and feels in a room. Get in touch for more information
