In very good, original condition with all natural dyes and hands-on wool. The large, elegant 'Boteh' fill the ivory field in repeat rows with myriad small flowers and leaves filling the space between, within a brick red floral border.
Woven by tribal nomads in the South of Iran, or Persia as it was then known.
The lively colours are best represented in the close ups.
