North East Caucasian Rug fragment mid 19th century

The quality and range of colour in this lovely old fragment serve as a great reminder of how artistic and talented a top notch weaver could be. Not only a great eye for colour but great arrangement of those colours! The golden yellow border is absolutely stunning and just take a look at the small details in the field, or in the 'spinning' elements in the small border. Really worthy to be hung on the wall and enjoyed.
