Worn on festive days, or for ceremonies, this delightful embroidery is packed with an impressive display of flora and fauna. Parrots, representing good luck, mermaids, peacocks and the Venetian inspired double-headed eagle all worked in colourful silks and occasional details in metal thread. Very charming and will look fantastic mounted. Being offered 'as is' because I am swamped with work but if it doesn't sell, I will eventually send it off to be stretchered.
