A beautiful, late 19th century decorative carpet with a gorgeous allover design of diverse large flowers on a light cherry ground colour has been reduced in length and width, presumably to fit someones room but still has a wonderful decorative presence. Accents of rich grass green, soft yellow, mid blue, cream are mixed skilfully and represent many opportunities to pick out agreeable soft furnishings... Showing light wear, old repairs well done this beautiful carpet is ready for another 100 years use.
