A spectacular North West Persian carpet, this one really ticks a lot of boxes. Unusually fine, with a midnight blue ground colour and pale gold medallion, there are three or four distinct blues, three greens, multiple reds. It's one of the first signs of something special when it has more than 8 different colours and here we're looking at 11 or 12 distinct shades, not just abrashes.
