17th Century Flemish Tapestry 103 x 251 cm / 3'4" x 8'7"

A finely woven wool and silk tapestry from circa 1620 of two angels, one in the foreground with finger raised, possibly delivering news of an important birth(!) and a second one in the background looking of its shoulder as it departs. Beautiful, soft colours and amazing drawing- just look at the details of the hair or the feathers in the wings. Professionally lined and conserved, ready for hanging in your hallway or stairway.
