A beautiful decorative carpet from North West Persia, a so-called Bakshiash made in the Heriz district. These are defined by a softer palette of colours, allover designs drawn in charmingly naive ways. Here we can see a terracotta ground and that fabulous, wide, light blue border. Highlights of green, yellow and orange. This carpet will define and set the style for your room in the most positive way. Showing light wear and loss to the ends, otherwise very good, original condition.
