Antique Afshar Rug, Worn 159 x 245cm / 5'3" x 8'0"

Evenly worn, late 19th century Afshar rug from South Persia. Alternating medallions of camel and brick fill the field and within are flowerheads and leafy vines. The main border of many shades of light blue has a fascinating design of delicately drawn tiny birds and relatively enormous flowers. A tribal rug which although worn has no holes, or repairs and is ready to go straight on your floor. All colours are naturally dyed and the wool is handspun.

5'3" x 8'0"

Occasionally I also do a home trial, numerous factors can vastly change how a piece looks and feels in a room. Get in touch for more information
